interviewer: so you kep your clothes on when u play live or do u go crazy?
lauri: the audiance take their clothes off (pretends to take top off and shouts in a girls voice) "LAURI!"

Interviewer: So now you've won a TMF award, what are you gonna do to celebrate?
Eero: Dunno, we might go for a hamburger later on

If you could change three things about The Rasmus, what would they be?
Pauli: "Aki, Eero and Lauri. (laughing) Or I'd change you into women."

If you were a building, which building you'd be?
Lauri: I'd be Sydney Opera House. Actually, it looks like me a little.

Interviewer: What do you do with all the teddy bears and stuff that get sent to you?
Lauri: Oh, we eat teddybears.

Interviewer: Dude! You have feathers in your hair!
Lauri: I know, I am a bird.
Interviewer: But seriously man, how do you get them to stay in? Do you use clips or glue or what?
Lauri: No, they are real.

On pay-tv:
Aki: We were pretty screwed up in Germany 'cos we didn't know we would have to pay for it after 2 minutes preview
Eero: It was told so in the manual, but you were too stupid to read it
Lauri: Yeah, just turned the TV on quickly
Aki: And hand to the engine room!
Lauri: No, hand to the minibar
Aki: Finally some granny with huge voice came to yell at us that who has opened the pay-tv. Record company fortunately paid it.


J: do you guys like a menage a trois
Pauli: what ever
Aki&Lauri: yuuh
Eero: what's that
J: you know, you and two woman.
Eero: I don't speak french, only merci beaucoup.

Someone on our site told us Lauri is leaving the band because he is pregnant! - Aki Hakala

What is one thing you can't get enough of?
A: Whole band bursts into laughing. "Wonder what is the one thing we can't get enough," Aki says in the middle of the laughing.
"Once I saw this really beautiful girl in the front row at our gig. I lost my mind temporarily and was playing the drums really loud in a B-part of a song when I was supposed to play silently. They guys we're glancing me over their shoulders and thinking what is he doing. I haven't seen the girl since, but I have sent her my best greetings. Thanks for ruining my gig!"


If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be?
Pauli: Michael Jackson (laughs) That would be cool
Lauri: You could sleep in an incubator.
Pauli: I wouldn't have to
Lauri: What would happen to you then?
Pauli: Oh yeah.
Lauri: Your face would fell off. Remember the effects of polluted air! (laughs)

Are there any scary moments that you can remember?
Lauri: "The first time that I went to Disneyland I was so shocked: there were walking 2 Mickey Mouses! One at the entrance and one at the cowboypark. Man, that was the least thing that I expected!"

Eero: "Finland is a very big country, with a small amount of people, and we are a very shy race. Therefore people drink a lot to get rid of the shyness. In the winter everyone gets depressed and they drink even more."
Lauri (offended): "Man, you make it seem like the worst place in the world!"
Eero: "Well, you know, the nature is nice..."

Is it true you watched horrormovies during the making of Dead Letters?
Pauli: "Yes, but we watched other movies too. We were in a hotel in Stockholm, cause we were taking the songs there. We were watching a lot of movies there because we had nothing else to do!"
Eero: "Do you know the horrormovie: The Lion King?"
Pauli: "Yup, the Lion King was a real scary movie Eero..! I watched it too! I mean, between that monkey with the face paint and Simon and Pumba, what could be scarier?"

Do you still listen to your old cd's?
Eero: "Yes, and then we laugh really loud, hahaha!"

What do you think of Lauri's hair?
Pauli: I like it very much, because Eero and I have designed it!
Eero: He can sleep with it, when he wakes up he doesn't have to do his hair!

Mag : It looks like you make a good pack. Don’t you ever have any disagreements?
Eero: Everything happens. After one concert Lauri, Pauli and Aki organized a party in the next room in hotel. I called the reception and finked on the noise.
Lauri: And we thought that it was some kind of VIP who made us to finish the party. When we knew it was Eero – we wanted to finish him off...

high heels or sneakers?
Aki: high heels are cool for man. It’s totally glamrock! But i wouldn’t weare them myself... it’s too gay-like.
Lauri: i trumble over my feet al the time already, dat would only get worse with high heels. So sneakers.


vodka or a joint?
Aki: wodka.
Lauri: but finnish wodka!
Aki: makes you nice warm. Especially when you drink a lot. I could drink a whole bottle in one evening.

Interviewer: So what did you do last night?
Lauri: Well, I don't know what happened to these guys (points to Eero and Pauli) but me and Aki got married in Las Vegas.

Interviewer: Do you trust anyone to large it in your house?
Aki: Once my oven door broke because my friends were rolling around on it.
Lauri: A friend of mine was on my bed with his girlfriend and two bed-legs broke. I had to sleep with my legs on the floor with my head up high...so not funny.
Eero: The same guy was also dancing ontop of a bar with a feather between his a$$ cheeks.
Lauri: He took the feather from my hair and put it in his a$$.

Interviewer: If you had the chance to meet any celebrity, who would it be?
Lauri: Bjork. Even though she is much older than me. I think she's really individual. I like that in a girl, I think it's hot.
Eero: No, I want to meet her!
Lauri: I said it first!!
Eero: Well, I've met her already, so...

Lauri: Thank you but please stop sending me feathers! I have too many!

Interviewer : You're having fun, but the girls are going crazy at your concerts...
Pauli: The ones in the front row even throw their underwear!
Lauri: But usually it doesn't fit us and it's extremely uncomfortable...

Would you be the captain or the captain's boy?
Aki: I would be the captain

Who would look best in girls clothes?
Aki: That would be Lauri

Pauli: [with a surprised face and innocent eyes] What? I don’t smoke at all! [everyone laughs]
