I have never been to Finland, even though I live very close, in Sweden. I would like to visit at least Helsinki My father is going to Finland next week (it's with his work so I can't follow, unfortunataly). He is going to visit a town one hour's drive from Helsinki. I know some finnish words, but not many. - Minä rakastan sinua = I love you - Lintu = bird (I bet you all now it already) - I know how to count to ten. That's all

Yes okiii That was a great first course Really nice ! My teacher comes from Turku and speak a little bit french, he has a small too comic accent lool. We learned three verbs ( olla : to be, ymmärtä (not sure how to write this verb) = to understand and puhua = to speak), how to say its nationnality (name of the country + lainen or läinen), the languages which one speaks, some names of country (Ranska (France), Belgia (Belgium), Suomi (Finland), Englantia (England), Hollantia (Holland), and some others), and how to put a question (puhutko ranska ? = do you speak french ? oletko belgalainen ? = are you belgian ?...). And I have to buy two grammar books in finnish . and to finish veiled a small presentation which I have of making : Olen Sophie, Olen Belgalainen, puhun Ranska, Hollantia ja Englantia. It's not a lot of things but our teacher learned us some things about finland and about him lool We are only 10 'students' and that's great ^^ _________________

It seems like a great course Sophia! I would like to learn some finnish too. Today when I was at the dentist, there were two finnish speaking people there. I felt so proud when I understood two words they said: mutta = but kiitos=thank you
